ABOUT US
McKeary
Desktop Designs was established in 1987 by Cheryl McKeary to
answer the desktop publishing needs of small businesses. At that time,
few businesses knew
what “desktop publishing” was so not only did we have to
market the business we also had to explain desktop publishing.*
Since
that time, many changes have occurred not only in the technology of
computers, but also in the way businesses run their operations.
Our objective is to provide services to companies that will allow them to operate
at a profit.
With improved technology,
it is easier to work with clients located in other cities, states
and countries.
The name was changed to McKeary Designs in 2009 and now offers computer and office organization, graphic design, website design and maintenance and desktop
publishing.

*Webopaedia (www.webopaedia.com)
defines desktop publishing as “Using a personal computer or workstation
to produce high-quality printed documents. A desktop publishing system
allows you to use different typefaces, specify various margins and
justifications, and embed illustrations and graphs directly into the
text. The most powerful desktop publishing systems enable you to create
illustrations, while less powerful systems let you insert illustrations
created by other programs.”
